Hummus, toasted Toma'Dor and breadsticks


  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 bunch of Toma’dor tomatoes
  • 1 tin of chickpeas
  • 1 tbsp tahini
  • 1 sheet of ready puff pastry
  • 5 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Provencal herbs
  • Pepper and salt

Type of dish



  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Roll out the puff pastry with the baking paper on a baking tray, cut strips of it and turn it into nice breadsticks.
  • Brush the breadsticks with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, season with salt and pepper and some Provençal herbs.
  • Take an oven dish and put the tomatoes in it. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  • Put the tomatoes and the puff pastry sticks in the oven and roast them for about 15 minutes.
  • Peel the garlic and put it in the food processor together with the drained chickpeas, the rest of the olive oil and the tahini. Blend finely.
  • Remove the tomatoes from the oven and mix half of them into the hummus. Spoon the hummus into a bowl, finish with the remaining tomatoes and serve with the breadsticks.
